Before discovering how to alter the very fabric of time itself, Michael Lashe ruled the world - sort of.The 18-year-old prodigy vowed to protect his crime-ridden home by becoming London's first caped-crusader, saving damsels in distress and winning the key to the city all while choosing not to wear a mask. He became the first Black "Superhero" to reveal himself to the masses.Despite this, Michael found himself alone most nights, focused on his robot creations he called Sentients. But everything changed when the time-travelers kidnapped him in the middle of the night for their own nefarious means.As Michael seeks to understand the mechanics of time-travel, his greatest challenge will be the person he'll work beside: Ceci Cee-Catheryn, a Southern girl with a fractured past filled with a lot of pain, insecurity, and more than a tad of prejudice.
