The last drink

Jane is a cheerful bartender who works in the Town bar. Charles is a middle aged mechanic who has recently developed a severe drinking addiction. This short story is set in a fictional town of Ruthford during the New Year's Eve when Charles visits the bar and gets into a conversation with Jane which involves their pasts.

How will their  lives change after their little chat?
