There is a battle going on for the heart and attention of Christopher D'Antoni. Grandson of a mob boss and heir to the D'Antoni power and fortune, Christopher wants to choose good over evil - at least at first. Peer pressure, addiction to pleasure, selfishness, and poor choices steer him in the opposite direction. God and good friends intervene, but will it be too late?

Christopher's parents believe he is a miracle child who can do no wrong, sent by God as a special blessing with a special purpose. But who is this boy? Is he really all that special? Although his family thinks he is, his friends are not so sure until...

The Last One is the story of the events that bring Christopher to the brink of a choice that will impact not only his life, but the lives of the entire existing human race.
Cheryl Thomas lives in upstate New York near her five young grandchildren with whom she has countless actual adventures when she isn't constructing fictional ones in her writing. She also enjoys crafting with diamond dots and watching all kinds of movies, always with a large cup of tea nearby.

Cheryl's passion is to make Biblical characters come alive in her writing with actual personalities, problems, and relationships. She also enjoys writing about the "what ifs" in the Spiritual realm, filling in the details of what might be and what could be.

Cheryl is the author of The Olive Tree, a historical fiction work that takes place during the life of Saul and immerses readers into the world in which he lived. She has also written From a Mother's Heart, a musical which tells the story of Jesus' birth through the eyes of Mary, Mary's mother, and Elizabeth.
