When you begin reading "The Last Samaritan," you might think you've gotten stuck with another drippy romance novel, or some fool's sob story. Action! Nothing could be further from the truth, which is what this is all about. The events that happen in this autobiograaphical novel reads like a movie of the week. Suspense! It has everything you could want: Sex, drugs, fast cars, fast women, as well as violence and perversion. Drama! Plus, being overcome with a deep desire to find himself, the author goes through all kinds of torture in his quest for meaning. This is a story that I believe will skyrocket up the bestseller list once it becomes available, which I hope is soon.
