The Legend of the Plaid Parakeet

Scottish parakeet, Wallace, had it pretty good. Birdseed galore, his best friend Vertie, a fashionable tartan, and a cozy home until his world is turned upside down with a move to Australia!

Upon arrival, Wallace is separated from his bestie and sent to a quarantine center with all the other pets entering the country. The veterinarian is welcoming, and the food is way better than what Vertie provides-he'll have to talk to her about stepping up the veggies!

So, Wallace decides life isn't too bad in Australia either. He'll be reunited with Vertie soon, and together they'll explore their new home, or so he thinks, until a Ned Kelly fanatic breaks into the facility stealing valuables... one near and dear to Wallace's heart.

Wallace, ever the Scottish gent, goes after the prison escapee, and together with new friends he gains along the way, makes quite a name for himself.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves here. After all, parakeets are quite small compared to some of the other creatures in Australia. We can talk about heroics if he makes it out alive!
