His Pashtun grandmother and a legendary Green Beret encourage Mohammed to use his surgical talents in Afghanistan. A covert Langley program, OWL, the Others Watch List, ensure his every Pashto conversation, his prayers in village mosques, his every contact with villagers becomes suspect.
