The Letter to the Hebrews

When the Redeemer came to earth He explained how everything in the Bible from the Law to the Prophets had been intended to point to His coming. The Bible had been given to mankind to prepare them for the Redeemer's arrival. And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, Jesus explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself. Luke 24:27. The author of the Letter of Hebrews reexamines the Old Testament for his Jewish readers, explaining to them how the Old Testament pointed to the Messiah: Jesus Christ the mediator of the New Covenant.
