Carmen T. Martínez was a very happy girl. She loved to dance, sing, draw, play and run around the house and the backyard. What she could never imagine, due to her innocence and youth, was that she would be the author and protagonist of her own life. When she was barely three years old, she began to be tormented by spirits; especially this almost infernal spirit, about whom she passionately writes in this book, "The Light Behind the Darkness". Her narrative presents the struggle with that "Being", her fears, courage, anger, and the inability to defend herself, without being able to say a word, afraid that no one will believe her, since she was a very happy, astute and independent little girl. Her family also thought that she was a liar. As a result of these experiences, she decided to write her own story and tell the world "WHAT SHE WAS ALWAYS AFRAID OF TELLING".
