This book is a work of fiction set in a rural and rapidly evolving market town,east of the Niger,Nigeria.It depicts the typical rural life with pre-existing social life,security and justice systems,economy,traditional government and social order deep in Igboland in the 70s when western influence was still relatively very low in some areas around there.
