Is friendship lost? When did it get lost? Where did it go? The Lost Art of Friendship is a book about one person's experience in finding, losing, keeping and cherishing true friendship. There are also stories taken from the Bible that illuminate principals of true, abiding friendship. Do you have the friendships you desire? Are you the friend you want to be? Friendship has gotten lost in the current culture of technology. It is easier to text than to develop an in-person, personal relationship. Even though technology is vital to communication, it should not replace developing relationships in personal contact. Each chapter tells a story, provides a basic principle of friendship, and ends with various points for the reader to ponder as they consider their own friendship characteristics and development. The reader is challenged to examine themselves and encouraged to make positive changes.
