The author has made a decision to accept the horse she was given and to write it all the way to heaven. Being poor was a way of life for her growing up, she learned to accept that being poor made her work harder toward the goal of heaven. I was poor in finance and rich in the Word of the Lord. At a very young age, she accepted her fate. At the same age, she knew she had to dissolve any hope she had of becoming rich and lean on the Lord, which was all she needed. Trusting in Him helped her develop to a strong and determined Christian woman with morals and an appreciation of what she had. Love from both parents, respect for those around me. Neighbors, school officials, adult, and peers as well. Eating the vegetables from her parent's garden as she fills herself with the need of His Word. Money was not something she desired or even hoped for in her young life. It was always work. Never anything easy. Always, it was sweat and backbreaking. Each night, as she lay on her bed, she was grateful it was her own bed. Her bed always gave more comfort than what she had heard of the jail bed. She can always lay on her bed and give God praise for how far he had brought her. Even now as she looks toward the heavens each morning, she whispers "Thank you." Standing there before God with all of His riches. As poor as a man after someone stole his wallet on his payday. Even when he has nothing left, he is rich if he has a solid relationship with the Lord.
