The Love of Rosemarie

Rosemarie is a beautiful young Irishwoman living in a Castle on a Cliff above the sea .she is neither peasant nor royalty .she is so beautiful and virtuous that even the seasons of the year are envious of her. 

Living on a mountaintop nearby is an evil witch named Scourgia .she was a beautiful young woman at one time and is jealous of the beauty and virtue of Rosemarie. 

She locks Rosemarie in a cell in Rosemarie's castle and plans to steal the beauty and goodness that Rosemarie has. 

There comes riding through the countryside a young warrior named baldric . His mission is to find an example of goodness and virtue to take back to his King and to find a love of his own. As he enters the small village at the foot of the mountain,the Village people tell him of their fear of the witch and how she has locked up Rosemarie .0 He knows he has found the the goal he is seeking..

From her mountaintop, Scourgia knows of his purposes .she conjures up evil spells. She sends a giant warrior against hib m,and baldric defeats the warrior. She creates a giant Condor and baldric defeats him also. She creates four giant spiders and sends them down the mountain to fight baldric. 

Baldric defeats fthree of them urm and does not realize the fourth one is crawling toward him from behind. Rosemarie has seen all this from her prison celland her great love for baldric cgives her the strength to break the bars of her cell window. She attacks the spider and as they fight , they roll off the cliff to their death. Baldric rides away in GGreat grief. Scourgia realizes that her evil powers can never be as strong as the love and virtue of a young woman, and she goes away to other lands and never uses her evil powers again .
