I've traveled to that special place many times. Imagine believing that you have it all, only to have it stripped away from you in an instant. Let me introduce you to, "THE MADNESS WITHIN." This book will show you vivid images of the peaks and valleys of "the madness" and its impact on my pursuit of the dream of becoming a doctor. This is a first hand account of the life of a student with a strong faith in God, despite a gripping plight with mental illness. My journey begins with my childhood and ends with my triumph over 15 years of struggle and pain. "THE MADNESS WITHIN" is the personal account of a yielded vessel of God; including journal entries and a detailed pharmacological history which highlights medications taken upon discharge from each hospitalization and summarizes major life events.
