The exercises in this book take you out of your head and put you in the world. This enables you to see precisely what happened, so you can make corrections that open you to a whole new world.

With this playbook:

• You're prompted to see yourself in ways you're not used to.
• You'll look all the way down to the bottom of what it means to be a human being.
• You'll examine your subjective self-the Intruder-with objective curiosity, which enables you to free yourself from subservience to your conditioned reactions.
• You'll engage in a process of disidentifying with your assumptive identity, so you can identify with what's real and true about you-The Maestro. That's when you'll stop being a broken promise to yourself.

As a child, you promised yourself the world. You are about to learn how to stop what stops you from living in that world. Rarely do we know what we don't see because of our perceptual constraints. As you become aware of those constraints you can remove them. That opens you up to incredible possibilities and allows you to take full responsibility for turning them into actualities.

Be prepared to be struck by the enormity of what it means to be a human being.
