The Malton Project

A celebration, in photographs, of the interiors of the long-established shops of Market Place and the Shambles in the market town of Malton, North Yorkshire, UK and of their owners. Malton developed around the original Roman fort and many of the present shops have been little changed over hundreds of years. Although the interiors of many have been modernised, some have not and most show evidence of their long histories.
This book is not just a record or what exists, it is a celebration - in photographs - of what continues to exist......
