The Man We Serve

Focuses on the human service professions in the areas of law, medicine, nursing, education, social work, religion, and rehabilitation. Examines the concept of man as the object and foundation of the human services, based on Biblical and humanistic existentialism, and on humanistic psychology. Delineates the following characteristics which the author believes should be the fundamental premises of the professions of human services: dignity, creativity, freedom, morality, and proactivity.
