The Medicine Line

Young James Coumerilh sets out from Louisiana hoping to leave his past behind and make a new life amongst his Metis relatives in Northern Montana. From the outset, his journey up the Missouri River by steamboat is tumultuous. He soon finds himself with more worries than when he left home. Turning back is not an option. Going on may cost him his life as well.
