The Men I Loved

This is a story of love, struggle, heartbreak, disappointment, abandonment, loneliness, anguish, addiction, mental illness, mental abuse, and codependency. The story shares a woman's journey from childhood to teenage years, to motherhood, and to graying hair. It's a story of life after marrying a man who would later become a drug Kingpin. Her life transitioned from a suburban housewife to a life of private Lear Jets, limousines, and luxury waterfront homes.

Her life takes another turn when she remarries and struggles to survive with two children and a man who becomes addicted to alcohol and drugs. It tells of the almost constant verbal and mental abuse. Te story tells of her losses and struggles throughout her career, and as a Realtor during the Great Recession of 2008. It talks about her inability to deal with a son with mental issues who later comes out as a transgender female.

As an escape from her life of disappointments, she becomes obsessed with a man who was aloof and unavailable.

Her story spans through historic times that include the 9/11 Twin Tower attack, The Great Recession, Trump's presidency, the Pandemic, the 2020 elections, and the insurrection of our Nation's Capital.
