I have a tender memory of my grandmother picking me up in her arms and spreading the branches of a treasured little tree in her garden to reveal a bluebird nest with three tiny eggs. As I grew, I cherished that memory. Eventually I realized that I was as unique as that little tree and I discovered that I had a special nest of my own. A woman's coming of age is meant to be celebrated. It's a private milestone, but loved-ones can make it special and memorable. I've created this journal with the hope that a loved-one would give it to a special young woman who is just beginning her journey into womanhood. Gifting her this tangible memento can help to ground her as she partakes in the journey that women around the world have experienced since our beginnings.
