Jeff Hack was a haunted man. Haunted by the ghosts of his past, and growing ever more disillusioned with the assignments he was receiving from the CIA and then one day, it all changed. Suddenly he was the recipient of a different assignment, a security job, one that he had little training for but one that turned out to be the most important of his career. He accepted the job with some trepidation assuming an immense responsibility that included the welfare of the team of four others whom he would be working with. Neither he nor his team was initially aware of the true reason for their assignment. When they found out, it not only changed their lives but the lives of everyone on three worlds.
