The Piklers

This book had its origins in a shoebox full of names, pictures, and annotations George M. Pikler has kept since childhood. He began working on The Piklers: A Family Odyssey On Three Continents seven years ago, and with the support and substantial input of his first cousins Shlomo Neuman, Giora Liran, and Ivan Hájos, he has assembled here an account of the lives of the fifth generation of their family--his father and four aunts--as well as an extensive history of the family background and the times and places where they all lived.
