The Pursuit Of Freedom

This book 'The Pursuit of Freedom' is a two-volume memoir series and includes each of the books that Mark has written about his life. The first titled 'The Jungle' is about being sent to prison as an adolescent for a crime he did not commit. In this book, Mark spares no details regarding the horror of what life is like on the inside, but he also somehow manages to remain optimistic through it all as he shares his poetry and details of many personal experiences that he had with God during this time. His transparency is sure to make you laugh, cry, and cheer the whole way through. 

Book two, 'Serial Entrepreneur' begins with Mark describing the first morning he awoke to Freedom and continues with the challenges of seeking employment as a 'Returning Citizen.' He describes how these challenges led him to start his own business. Then Mark explains how used that experience to start several more businesses, expanded to Texas, and then goes on to describe what it was like to stand on a national stage and be recognized for his outstanding achievement in the business community as well as the day he met the Governor and requested a pardon.
