Colourful and dreadfully untidy, they are rather a trial to their more conventional neighbours - but surely a multi-coloured front door and a jumble of objects in the front garden are not reasons to have them kidnapped...

No, there are far more powerful forces at play. The Quintuckles are all talented musicians, and their fame has spread across the world to a remote island. The island's chief wants an orchestra to entertain his people - and who better than this eccentric but lovable family?
