The 'Let' Series is a timely book, considering the times we are currently living in. Christianity is almost losing its true meaning as God's people no longer bother with instructions to obey from the Word of God as much as they bother with promises to claim. Our generation wants what God can give, but we are not interested in knowing Who He really is or what He expects of us as His children. That is why the Lord has laid it on my heart to write this piece as a reminder to all of us that we have certain responsibilities as God's children.

The word 'let' according to a dictionary implies allow, permit, cause or make; and it appeared in the Bible more than a thousand times. Whenever we see the word 'let' in the Bible, we are to pay attention because most of the time it is about to tell us what we can and should do. 'Let' shifts the focus from what God should do to what we should do simply because we can do it. And that is being a responsible Christian. It has been said that the faith that expects God to do everything for us is an irresponsible faith. God should only be expected to do His part when we have done ours; and that is what the 'LET' Series is all about: knowing and doing our part as responsible Christians.

So, kindly pay rapt attention to what the Lord will be revealing to you through this book and decide in advance to not only be a reader but also a doer, as the blessing is only in the doing.

As we consider some of these 'LET' statements, it is my prayer that the Lord will open your eyes and grant you perfect understanding as well as the grace for correct application in Jesus' Name.
