The Real in Hyperreal

In the era of Hyperreal simulations, reality is projected through the simulations of reality. The representational reality has become so prevalent in the technological advanced society that there is no room left for the exploration of the 'real'. The postmodern 'masked' society has produced 'masked' men on the eve of COVID-19, gentleman in search of gentle man, 'piece' in search of 'peace' and 'disease' in search of 'ease'. This composition is a poignant reflection of reality within the realm of hyperreality. It provides a transcendental 'call' to come back (to) 'home', the ' self'. The poems included in the collection will take us to a journey from hyperreal to real, from gross to subtle, from mundane to spiritual.
