Earl Tarkman was a mathematical genius and knew how to run a gambling ring. Earl was hoping for a football or baseball scholarship from a big university program, and his goal was to make a quarter million dollars from the ring so he would not have to work while he attended University. When his staff runs into the newly arrived "Mafia," he finds out his organization is no match for these criminals. It is not too long before the Mafia catches wind of Earl's ring and he is forced to join them. Torn by his sense of right and wrong, Earl ventures through life trying to find a way out of the lifestyle he created. Many devastating events transpire that would alter his path.
Blake Tudor was the best major league baseball player in the world, having signed a contract with New York Yankees when he was only eighteen. There were only a few issues. He was unaware he had a half brother with 'Mafia' connections. When he finally is made aware of this truth, he is forced into a blackmail scheme by the Mob. His wife Annie was also becoming a problem. They had been together since high school, but she was an heiress to a fortune that could threaten their marriage, if she could only unlock the mystery that would land herself that money.
The Mafia realizes there is a faster way to make money and Tony Federicci is there to administer the new plan. He wanted to become a superboss himself, so he might have to kill some people along the way.
