This is the second book of the series. David, who was lost in African jungle was able to come out of the ordeal. However, The extreme shock he was subjected to in the alien environment created psychological problems. Parents understood, he imagined stories of the tiny knee-men. But they were utterly confused when David told of saving the daughter of the Knee-man emperor, and in reality they discovered a girl with him. They took the help of psychiatrist. After David became normal, he became confused about the existence of Knee-men. Parents disclosed, there existed Knee-men right in this society. They were still tiny not in physique, but in intelligence. They still believe in 'Religion' that is not based on Science or Logic, but on 'Rotten Pillars'.
