The Second Child

The sudden, violent death of a much loved baby daughter, and their opposing ways of coming to terms with grief, play havoc with the passionate and happy marriage of Peter and Sophie. A supportive group of friends, sexual therapy and, finally, a decision to make a new life in the Lot region of France all fail to keep the marriage together. They both become involved in other relationships. And then Sophie has an unplanned baby.
