The Secret of Prophet House

Sadie Prophet's life is turned upside down when her family moves into a two-hundred-year-old home built by her ancestor, Captain Nathaniel Prophet. In the seaside town of Everleigh, Prophet House has become a treasured historical landmark, drawing visitors from far away, due in no small part to the rumors that the captain hid a wealth of Spanish gold there. But no one has ever found it, and many claim that it is guarded by the original residents. When Sadie's father is called away for the summer, leaving Sadie and her mother alone in the house, strange things begin to happen. Someone, or something, wants them out. But nothing is as it seems... and they are most definitely not alone.
