The Setup

When psychic Louisa Lorenzo agrees to help chiropractor Charles Morton spy on his employees for FBI leaks by posing as their new office manager, she does so out of loyalty to their long-standing friendship, and to protect her daughter, Diane, who works for Morton.

But Louisa soon discovers Morton has teamed up with a gang of militants in a fraud scam robbing millions from insurance companies, and-unbeknownst to Morton-helping fund a terrorist plot to attack the United States. She also discovers Morton and his wife, a close friend of Louisa's, are using her to ascertain the status of the FBI's fraud investigating unit so they can stay one step ahead of it.

Louisa considers leaving until one of the militants, who she distrusts on a profound level, causes her to flashback to a past life in the court of Catherine de Medici, and she knows she must stay to discover how the past and present are connected and why.

A strange and scary journey begins as Louisa intuits her way around the parallel war zones of a past and present universe, searching for what the past must finish so she can move on and save her daughter's life.
