The Seven

A literary memoir of exile and survival in Soviet prison camps during the Holocaust. Most Polish Jews who survived the Second World War did not go to concentration camps, but were banished by Stalin to the remote prison settlements and Gulags of the Soviet Union. The Sevena name given to them by their fellow refugeeswere Polish Jews from Warsaw, most of them related.
