LIVING SIMPLE is a "work of heart" created over several years, of one man's self-examination about his commitment to Christian Ministry. Working closely with other clergy for thirty-eight years has given M.C. Tolbert a well versed understanding of the pitfalls for the men and women in ministry and the "little foxes" that spoil the vine. Richard foster's book, Celebration of Discipline, has served as a major inspiration for the discipline of this author, which has resulted in the completion of this work. This book is not for the "faint-of-heart clergy, but it will serve as an inspiration for those who sincerely wish to structure their ministries after Christ. The author's desire is to see more clergy "set free" from the addiction and bondage of "gaining more."
