Two young people met and fell hopelessly in love in their senior year at The University of Santo Domingo. Their Names are Alberto and Deidre. Their relationship at school and after their graduation was full of deep and passionate love. The kind of love most people dream about. They moved to the Chelsea District of New York City, after leaving the tropic. He asked for her hand in marriage after he sensed she was growing tired of his foolish ways. They then moved to Montclair. A city in northern New Jersey. Six months into their residency, Alberto chased a strange creature from his bed where his wife laid unconscious. It resembled a wiry framed old man with long shoulder length pail gray hair. He caught a glimpse of it's eerily coal-black eyes as it disappeared into the trees that lined their property. The look it gave him drove chills up and down his spine. Deidre fell ill with an incurable condition in the months to come. Deidre told Alberto she wanted to move to a city called Mingon, in northeast Canada. After several negative conversations, Alberto gave in, and they moved to Mingon. The town's people seemed to be too polite. They made his flesh crawl. It seemed as though they knew something and they were hiding it behind a cloak of politeness. In the months to come, something very good wood happen to Deidre, and this something made Alberto very happy. Then, almost in the same breathe, something terrible would happen to her. It devastated Alberto, and it also made him and a young lady, fugitives. There is more to this twisted and strange tail than meets the eye. Read on if you which to learn their fait, and be forewarned, leave the lights on as you read.
