Set in Los Angeles in the nineteen eighties. Our hero's life is changed after a near death experience, Thane Winstrom is led on a journey of discovery when during a nearly fatal accident, he glimpses the "other side," coming to learn that there is more to life than he realized, both on Earth and after death. Thane's experience caused him to dream every night. Both in real life, as well as in his dreams, Thane begins sensing and connecting to a natural energy coming from the Earth itself. This energy is personified in his reoccurring dreams when he becomes an Arthurian heroic character named Sarghon, prophesized and destined to save his world from a dark and powerful tyrant King. Surrounded by a sentient forest, mythical beasts, and new, magical friends, Sarghon (Thane's dream alter-ego) sets off on a fantastical adventure.

In Thane's life in the real world, he follows his instincts, leading him on a reckless mission of environmental passion, attempting to do all he can to save the planet from the failures of human negligence and pollution. He ends up attempting to stop a nuclear test on the Tahitian atoll of Mururoa, sparking an adventure just as wild as in his dream world. Both worlds begin to weave back and forth, influencing each other in dramatic and unexpected ways, as each scenario plays out in an epic tale!
