The Spirit of the Tree and Other Backyard Tales

In the hustle and bustle of life when the world and its problems spin circles around each person, our heads and bodies are left spinning and spewing in complaint and fatigue. When this happens, people have found a variety of creative ways to deal with this and try to bring peace, but it doesn't always work. Our world's inhabitants seek a variety of escapes, such as exercise, addictions, or super busyness. In some cases, these can work, at least temporarily. But what can a person do to have peace, joy, and harmony that carries them through the toughest journeys of life with contentment, calmness, and love?What is the example we are setting for our children, especially when we are under pressure? They will learn to respond as we do. Are we helping them find ways to bring peace, appreciation of our world, and love to their young lives, even during tumultuous times? This life lesson can be the gift that costs nothing but lasts a lifetime. I am saddened by children suffering from the effects of our virtual world filled with cyber lives, especially when they lose hope and find nothing to restore the beautiful souls within. If only they could learn at an early age how amazing they and this world are. So, what can we do to create a better world for children and ourselves?
