The Stories Gatherer

This is a collection of stories that the author has put together to stimulate the reader in reading twenty-five amazing stories that open up a world of various characters, plots, and backgrounds as well as the imaginary world of creative possibilities. The author believes that every human being has the power to create whatever intrigues or interests her/him. Creativity endows all writers with a sense of imagining things while turning words into stories that appeal to all readers. The word then becomes the catalyst for writing and stories are capable of teaching and learning the huge panoply of words that exists that make writing an easy task for those with talent as well as an example of the mastery of words themselves.

Clarence is the collector/gatherer while his close friend relates to us everything ingeniously creative there is to know about Clarence and, of course, the many stories he tells us from the talented gatherer. There is the story of Miss Dowd, the respected teacher whose diary reveals a much adventuresome life, the story of the mystery of the Ouija board, the one about the distant kingdom of Siloe that hunts for a virgin princess in the Camargue region to fulfill the prophecy of a son born to be a knightly king. Another story tells of Aurore, the little martyr child, who was abused by her step-mother in a small village in Quebec, a tale of fuzzy-woozy bears owned by Wanda, the stuffed animals collector as well as the truly captivating story of a young man who struggles with his never-ending desires for male intimacy and refuses to accept his true identity as a gay person. There are more and all stories are written in such a way as to bring one and all readers to the circle of the creative imagination at work.
