The Three Principles of Parenting

It is often said that children do not come with instruction manuals, so discovering how they function, what they can do, and why they act the way they do always remains mysterious, subject to parental suspicions and speculations. This book attempts to cut through the complexity of details by offering parents a set of basic principles that can be applied broadly to specific situations parents encounter in the process of raising their children. It does not attempt to offer all the answers because no book can do that, but in the focus on principles it hopes to create an awareness of the nature of parenthood. It hopes to show that parenting need not be daunting nor terrifying and can be fulfilling and effective. Parents can be good for children, and children can make their parents proud.
