The Transgressor

The Transgressor is about a woman named Sarie, actually it is about more than one woman, it is about every woman that has been abused in the name of religion. Society has changed a great deal since Sarie, her grandmother and mother's time; however we must never forget what it was like for her and the women of her world. This is a gritty story, told by someone that witnessed the crimes and the apathy driven society of that time. A male driven religion does not take into account the value of women and that is proven by the story inside these pages. This did not happen in another country, it happened here, in our backyard, sanction by the holy bible.
