The Treatment of Homosexuality in the Ethiopian Legal Perspectives

This book deals with about the legality or constitutionality of homosexuality in the Ethiopian legal perspective. It assesses whether homosexuality is criminalized or not under the Ethiopian Criminal Law. Hence, this short book, critically evaluates various legal documents, like the 1995 FDRE Constitution, The Federal Criminal Code of Ethiopia,The Family Laws and other literature in relation with homosexuality. Moreover, it assesses the position of traditions, religions and customs of Ethiopian people on the value of homosexuality. And finally, it argues that homosexuality is criminalized under the Ethiopian legal system under any conditions.
