Wake. A pit soaked in mud and heat. A narrow tunnel imbued with pink light. Slog upwards and join Level 1, 2, or 3. That's what you do here. You will never age. Eat worms as large as snakes. Each level is a cavern dominated by a pond of soupy water. Stare into the water and become a ghost-transported home and able to view your replacement, a version of you occupying the life snatched away. Vow to escape with your friends. Navigate the politics and peril of this world. Reclaim what is yours. But there is no leaving. You have lost everything. You are just a kid.
