The Trinity

Although the word Trinity is not found in the Scriptures it is a scriptural truth, the foundation to Orthodoxy. The church has come to understand terms that are used to describe certain scriptural doctrine. The word Bible doesn't appear in the Scriptures anywhere, but Christians everywhere have come to understand the term Bible to mean the organized canon of Scriptures. Most Christians have no problem with the term rapture when describing the catching away of the church as described by the Apostle Paul in First Thessalonians chapter 4. Is the doctrine of the Trinity a man-made creed or is it truly a Biblical doctrine? The Biblical basis of the Trinity is in the context of the progressive revelation of God's mighty deeds and words in the history of redemption as recorded in the Bible. This is the focus of this work.
