If ‘The Ultimate Teenager's Guide to Success’ was available, I would have made better choices with picking friends and choosing a career. However, I love the work I do because it allows me to show the community what serve and protect really means. I can change lives and people’s perception of the police every day. The joy I received from making a difference is exhilarating. Therefore, I know that I’m walking in my gift.

The role young people play is very important in our society because they are the next generation with this book, the youth will be able to make decisions, seek opportunities, be resilient, follow their dreams, entrepreneurship, and much more. This book isn’t just for pre-teens, teens and emerging adults, it’s for anyone who has missed out on that pivotal moment between the age of 13-25.  The things that weren’t taught in school may seem simple for an adult, but as a teenager, these things must be exposed and nurtured, so they can reach their highest potential. 

As a society, we often turn our backs on young people who live in disadvantaged communities because of unconscious biases. Think about what life would be like if at a young age young men and women knew their value, knew their potential or following their dreams. What would that world look like?
