Faith Gulilat and her husband, Binyam Gebre-Egziabher live in Clarksburg, Maryland and have five children - three of their own and two adopted. In 2011, Binyam and Faith Adopted Faith's niece and nephew. Faith is one of the 480 children raised by Tuomis'. She moved to the U.S. in 1990 and lived there since. Faith is a member of Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Washington, D.C., in which she ministers in different areas, including leading moms in prayer group.
