Naimah is filled with pain and grief, her pain is the type of pain that tares away at your very soul. So she is struggling with her faith, and belief that she will get over what troubles her deeply. So she falls to her knees, crying out to God, searching for a sign. The question is "Does God, send her that sign? Does He alleviate her pains?"

Aliya has been put in a position of leadership in a time of great fear, hate, and war. While searching for her family, Aliya struggles with the responsibility of getting others to safety. Aliya has to rely on her Faith in God, to persevere during these times of War. Aliya doesn't know what is waiting for them at the end of the tunnel but she hopes that these sewers, ultimately leads to freedom.
