“Stilbildande science fiction”

Hamnar ofta på listor över de hundra bästa science fiction-romanerna. Undrar om den inte rentav är den bästa. Kan inte släppa att boken kom redan 1898. Skräms av marsianerna med sina strålpistoler och maskiner som väser och tickar. Oerhört välskriven. Idag vet vi att det inte finns nåt intelligent liv på Mars (så du behöver inte vara rädd för att blicka upp mot skyn). Okej, men det gör det ju inte här heller.
