The Way of The Winterwolf

The following story is purely fictional. The names and places are fictitious. Any similarity of any character to anyone is purely coincidental and is not meant to represent any person living or dead. However due to the actual current abuse and plight of Native and Indigenous Americans in this country today, I would not be surprised if you recognize the trials and tribulations you read in these pages with someone you may know. This novel is hard edged and graphic but with a positive message that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to be wiling to move forward in the darkness. The following novel starts in the middle of our story with Sue-Ellen Winterwolf and her 'husband' Thomas Runningbear. We then travel to the past and delve into the lives of Sue-Ellen and John Redfox, her first husband. From there we return to the present... Then we return to Thomas' past and then we move on to the future. Our lives may travel in a linear progression but in order for you to fully understand our lives you must see it as it is now, then how it was in order to explain why it is... then you may move forward.To paraphrase a line from the movie: "The Hurricane""You don't always choose the novel you write, sometimes the novel you write, chooses you!"
