She couldn't shake the image of him bending that white-robed woman over the altar-had never seen anything like it, or like the others in their brilliant cloaks-like movie stars only a million times better because you could smell them, and they smelled like earth and exotic spices and sweet September smoke, and she'd almost touched them ... and the dancing and the music and the sex. If Remy hadn't run into the center of it all, they'd have done it right there on the altar. No one at school would believe this.
