The Wizard of Hawarden

Follow the Wizard's adventures when he moves to Village of Hawarden, Saskatchewan and creates excitement for his neighbours' when he comes up with the brilliant idea of creating a wind turbine so he can save money on their heating bill.The Wizard has many other zany adventures! He decides to visit a cursed antique store and stock up on some magical items. He purchases a new magic wand and spellbook. Life goes awry for the Wizard when his inventions blow up. Finally, his life is changed forever when he goes on a fishing trip at Lake Diefenbaker, and is pulled overboard by an enormous Jackfish and marooned on an island. Will Gordo, the fairy godfather be able to break the spell that keeps the Wizard stranded?Part II of the story takes place when the Wizard's wife, Susan, moves to an enchanted park located in the Village of Annaheim. Susan has new adventures when she reunites with the Wizard's pet crow, Giselle. Also, she meets the wise old tree, Aunt Elsie, and the ornamental crab apple tree, named, Gabby, who lives in this enchanted woodland. Susan grows into an older woman while waiting for the Wizard to return home. After waiting many years for his arrival: she decides to use up the last wish from her fairy godfather.
