The Wonder of Girls

It was once said, "Sugar and spice and everything nice?that's what little girls are made of." Girls ARE all that?and so much more. When she sees the first flowers blooming in the spring, she is captured by wonderment. Her spirit is filled with joy when she interacts with her family and her friends. "It is my hope," photographer Karen Henrich writes, "that when you look at the images on these pages, you will pause for a moment and allow your soul to feel the joy, the fascination, and the wonderment that these girls were experiencing when I caught them on film." These images invite us to revisit the world of a child, a world we once knew so well. Through the eyes of these girls, one may discover a renewed sense of appreciation for the little moments we often miss that engage us in the beauty of our world and the wonder of girls.
