A humorous adventure story about Steve Bliss, our uneducated hero who stumbles through life in a cloud of cluelessness. He tangles with a drunken, panhandling attorney and traps himself into an ill-advised partnership with a ruthless Russian gangster. He is victimized by slick Florida scam artists, and abused by a smooth-talking DA, hardened court judges, a faith-healing pastor, and other colorful characters. It's drug buys, stolen bank cash, sexual harassment, a hurried East Coast road trip, homelessness, jail cells, murder (or is it self-defense?), and other predicaments - some humorous, some deadly.
